First we sat down and talked about tools that the maori use to use one of the tools was a gourd it was used to collect water to go on long whaka journeys over the sea. Another tool was the tuwiri. It was used to make holes in the whaka so they could put the rope through it.
After that we went on a treasure hunt we had to find a anchor stone, a carving, a ore , a horouta waka,and in the next room we had to find some fish hocks and a circle thing i forgot what it was called

We watched 2 movies about NZ the we look at the stars there where so many satellite going around.
Then we walk around the museum and went in to the boat in the boat the stars where very steep then there was a captions wheel at the top of the boat and a caborn in side of the caborn the was a life jacket an a life boye.
Then we made cool wakas with leftover materials i made mine out of drifted wood fabric, BBQ skewers , cardboard and thin rope i put it all together i was very proud
